1. What is the HTTP Debugger Pro?

HTTP Debugger Pro is a useful http tool for IT professionals for intercepting, viewing and analyzing the HTTP and HTTPS protocol traffic between a web browser or any other application using the HTTP/HTTPS protocol, and a web server. It is an advanced http packet sniffer and anayzer that provides a wide set of helpful data to developers to locate and fix website errors and identify performance bottlenecks.

2. Who use the HTTP Debugger Pro?

Web developers can use HTTP Debugger Pro to identify performance bottlenecks and locate and to eliminate website errors. Software developers can view and analyze the HTTP traffic of their programs and the Internet. System and Network Administrators are able to analyze the behavior of suspicious web sites and programs.

3. How to start capturing the HTTP traffic?

HTTP Debugger starts to capture the HTTP traffic automatically right after the start.

4. Does HTTP Debugger Pro capture other ports besides 80?

HTTP Debugger Pro captures all traffic regardless of the TCP/IP port number.

5. Is it possible to group the data?

Simply drag the Column Header to the Group By box located above the main grid.

6. Is it possible to restore the removed columns?

Select the View Tab on the Toolbar, and then click the «Reset List Settings» or press Ctrl + D.

7. Is it possible to restore the default pane layout?

Select the View Tab on the Toolbar, and then click the "Reset Panes" or press Ctrl + Y.

8. Is it possible to view the response content?

Select the row in the main grid, and then select the «Response Content» Tab in the Response pane at the bottom of the application window.

9. Is it possible to view the captured images and flash animations?

Select the row in the main grid, and then select the «Response Preview» Tab in the Response pane at the bottom of the application window.

10. Is it possible to save the captured images and flash animations to disk?

Select the row in the main grid, and then select the row in the main grid, and then click the "Save Selected Item Content" on the Toolbar.

11. Is it possible to view the POST parameters?

Select the row in the main grid, and then select the «Request Content» Tab in the Request pane at the bottom of the application window.

12. Is it possible to view the encrypted traffic (HTTPS traffic)?

Using HTTP Debugger Pro you can capture and view the encrypted HTTPS traffic in the Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and other applications built on their basis.

13. Is it possible for my users to send me the error logs for my site?

They can use the "Save Session" option on the Toolbar.

14. Is it possible not to show the HTTP traffic of certain applications?

You can set filters using the "Set Filters" option on the Toolbar.

15. Is it possible to highlight items in the list, for example slow pages?

You can set Highlighting Rules using the corresponding Toolbar option.

16. Is it possible to find a required string in the list?

Enter the required text into the "Quick Find" field; alternatively, you can press F7, to filter the list for the sought keyword.

17. Is it possible to see the initial size of the compressed page?

You ñan see the initial size of the compressed page, as well as the compression ratio in the Summary Pane to the right while selecting the corresponding row in the list.

18. Is it possible to see the cookies received/sent to the server?

You can see the received/sent cookies in the "Cookies" Pane to the lower right while selecting the corresponding row in the list.

19. Is it possible to create and send a custom HTTP request to own server?

Use the built-in "HTTP Submitter" option in the "Tools" Tab.

20. Is it possible to quickly decode an URL?

Use the built-in "URL/Text Converter" option in the "Tools" Tab.

21. Is it possible to filter the data on Diagrams without deleting them from the main list?

Use the "Filters" button in the "Charts" Tab in the Toolbar, which appears in the Diagram mode.

22. Is it possible to restore the Pane closed by mistake?

Use the "Reset Panes" or select the required pane from the Pane list in the "View" Tab.

23. Is it possible to remove a column from the list?

Drag the column header out of the application window.

24. Is it possible to change the column order?

Drag the column header to a new position.

25. Is it possible to sort the data in the column?

Click on the column header to sort. Clicking the second time will change the sorting order.

26. Is it possible to bookmark items in the list?

Select an item in the list and press Ctrl + F2.

27. Can I use the HTTP Debugger Pro after the Subscription Period ends?

Yes, you can use the purchased application without any limits. The only limitation is that you will be unable to upgrade to the new versions of HTTP Debugger Pro for free after the Subscription Period ends.
